The guys at the visitor's center was very help by proving a map and suggesting hiking trails. You can rent kayaks and other boats near the boat launch. Kayaks are $10 for an hour or $25 per day as of this posting. They provide life jackets too, which are required for kids under 13.

I want to like Comlara. The tent camping sites on the lake are very nice. The boat rental is nice but the bath houses are out of a horror movie set. Wish they had a pool for a break, since the beach/swimming hole is super smelly and something by my husband up a few times.
I came with my children and grandchildren and we had a wonderful time swimming. It wasn't crowded and the lake was great. You can bring in a cooler (after they check it out. No alcohol allowed) and you can bring in snacks. We brought in our own floats but they say you can also rent some from them. All in all a very good time and we will be back
I love Glasner Beach!!! It is the best place on earth, clean bathrooms, goose poop free sidewalks, friendly employees... I could go on and on about the many wonders of this establishment! This is the place to be!!
