Great little bar offering good burgers and cold beer near Lake Bloomington
I love coming to this place to have a cheeseburger, beer, and fries. The pricing is great as is the food. The hit and miss is the service. During the week, seems like slow times, there is a waitress that is slower than molasses and can't remember to bring you a drink with your order, or completely ignores you when your sitting in a booth. On the W/E's there are way better servers, that jump right in and help. I'm guessing that during the week, the owners daughter works there and doesn't have the customer service attitude that the real workers do. I hope the kids never take over this place, because they will go out of business from poor service.
Excellent local hole in the wall that is known for cheeseburgers. My wife loves the corn nuggets. I've been going to Green Gables most of my life. I wouldn't change a thing. The interior or lack there of is part of what makes it great.
I have been going to Green Gables for a very long time and it's one of my favorites. My entire family loves Green Gables. Their double cheeseburger is my favorite in the area. The cheese balls are a must try!! I also love their corn nuggets. Service is always great and very friendly! I can't recommend this place enough!
Best hamburgers in town. Be aware that everything is cooked either on the grill or in the deep fryer. The beer selection is what you'd expect from a local pub. Friendly service, great food, and a unique environment in this long time Lake Bloomington staple. Be aware that it is CASH ONLY, but there is an ATM available.
